October 14-16, 2005 Past President Kerry and daughter Jennie hosted the ACS tent. Once again beautiful weather graced the large crowds for these weekend games. Clan Hamilton was the honored clan at the 33rd annual games, with Angus Douglas-Hamilton, 15th Duke of Hamilton was the honored guest. World class professional and amateur athletes competed and world records were tested. This event is one of the largest in the southeast with 104 Clans, 13 Scottish Societies manning tents. Impressive was the 38 Pipes and Drum bands with more than 500 pipers marching. The opening and closing ceremonies were breathtaking when the mass bands performed.
